We have to discuss some very unpleasant things today.

And that is the desire of some adults to engage in sexual activity with children.

It's the topic I wish I didn't have to discuss.

It's a topic I'd rather not discuss.

The topic we don't often discuss.

There are people who have made a crusade out of exposing these people and their deeds and punishing them.

Those people are activists.

Those people are prosecutors, investigators.

There are law enforcement officers, there are judges.

There are reporters, journalists.

There are people that do what I do.

They have made it their cause.

And God bless them.

Because it's a sort of thing that we don't want to hear much about.

It's distasteful.

It's gross.

Sickening.

Sort of like you don't want to know if your favorite restaurant has slime in the ice machine.

Or rat eyeballs in the burgers.
