Welcome back to the Mind Meld, my friends.

So glad to have you back.

And if this is your first dip in the wonder drip, welcome.

And this is such a playful and honestly, at least for me, insightful Mind Meld,

because there's this phenomenon that happens during the course of these dialogues,

sometimes where it's like idea amplification or something to that effect.

When your curiosity, your musings, your linguistic exploration,

enters into mingles with and refracts through the prism of another person's mind.

And via that alchemy, it all intensifies, like a refracted beam of cyclical sunlight off a piece of glass.

Or to put it more simply, your own ideas are strengthened by another's.

They're imbued with a vital genus aqua that makes them greater than they were before.

And for me, this Mind Meld with my friend, author, meme god, and poet, James McRae,

is definitely one of those occasions.

And I also wanted to say, as many of you know, I go through a lot of philosophical flings.

I would call them, but I do for sure have some long-term relationships too.

You know, depth psychologists like Carl Jung, James Hillman, James Hollis,

but also Plato and Platonic philosophy in general,

which I won't go too deeply into in these introductory rambles.

But I wanted to bring it up because it's funny.

It's really incredible how James own riffs on the novel,

mirthful, mysterious aspects of language and creativity and meme-making end up complementing my own philosophical proclivities in unexpected ways,

...
