0:48.0 | I started with actually probably longer at this point, I like age myself of myself, but I started get I started with a copy of rich that poor dad from my older brother when I was 14 years old hated the book at the time. I was very cynical. But I knew I just had to start investing from, you know, that was the one core takeaway I got from the book. Kind of got into like mutual funds at that time. I actually was old enough to remember actually paying for trades and I went from mutual funds then I kind of got to the point where I was like you know what I think I could probably do this better so I dove into individual stock picking started reading about like Warren Buffett, |

1:40.0 | When I started working for the government, got the first paycheck, was like, you know what, not only are they my employers, they're also my business partners with the amounts of taxes they got they were taken out. So that kind of got me into the rabbit hole. Well, how do I how do I pay less taxes legally? I did the stupidest thing you can imagine. I called my oldest brother who had a couple of rentals and I was like, well, you know, I need a tax deduction, which asset would you like to sell? And he gave me like his biggest problem. And I bought it, managed it myself, but I realized I really didn't want to do more of this on a lower scale. |
