What's going on everybody? This is Josh Ferrari host of the creative cap or podcast and I just did that introduction on a no limit minute segment. You're right. I know I don't even know I'm doing right now.

Before we were in triple digits here now, then you know we talked about this and that is your vision specifically your vivid vision for your life for your family for your business for what that's going to look like for you.

Long term. And so what I want to go over today is what the concept of the vivid vision is supposed to achieve for you.

Vivid vision. Go read that book. Listen to the audio book however you consume books. I encourage you to go listen to that or read it because it is a fantastic book.

And I actually took it serious. The second time after I read it, the first time I read it, I just settled for bullet points. The second time I read it, I decided, okay, maybe I really need to make my vision vivid. Maybe I need to get serious and legit about this.

And the purpose of the vivid vision is to not only portray internally for yourself. So you think number one is you're going to let yourself and your family know exactly what it is you guys are trying to do.

But you're trying to accomplish over the next three years. It's a three year outlook for where you want to be. And you can write it however you want it. It can look however you want it. And I just so happen when I wrote mine, I wrote it like a newspaper article.

So I wrote it in third person as if I was a reporter on December 31st of 2023, writing about me and my company at that particular time and what the company looked like and what we'd have achieved over the last three years.

And so you can write it however you want. But the concept of it is to give you that crystal clear clarity for what you are looking to achieve your vision, your purpose over the next three years, what you're striving for, how you're going to get there.

So all of that that you'll have created will help you to reverse engineer on the back end, how you're actually going to get there. Right. So now you'll be able to go through the more in depth analysis of what it's going to take to get there. So whereas the main goal, the main goal may be, hey, I need $5,000 a month of passive income to quit.

Well, let's reverse engineer that. How do we get $5,000 a month of passive income? Well, I need a certain level of passive income from each particular property based on let's say rules of thumb. So let's say you buy a multifamily deal or you buy a single family deal and it gives you $100 or $200 a month in cash flow. All right. Well, you're going to need what is that five times

I'm horrible math. Well, however many that is what's it's 20 OK, I'm going to need 20 properties over the next

However, the next three years so that I can achieve this goal. OK, 20 properties of the next three years. So if I just divide 20 by three, then I'm going to need what is that seven just a little less than seven six or seven properties per year.

OK, how am I going to get six or seven properties per year. That means that means I need to close about one or two properties per quarter.

OK, one two properties per quarter. How am I going to do that? Well, I need to go do this and then I need to do this and you get all the way down to a granular granular level of what you're going to do daily and how you're actually going to achieve that.

And that is really like I said, that will be your crystal clear clarity, your absolute vision of where you're looking to get and how and what exactly you need to do to attempt to start getting there. Now, you may not know all the how to's and exactly what you need to do. And so that's where something like a mentorship or just continuing to read books and educate yourself and

Network and communicate with other people in the business is going to come into play.
