This episode is the epitome of why we do what we do as entrepreneurs. Johnny Lynum is a full time, active duty, Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. He's been using his career to help fund his passion for real estate investing, so that one day he can retire from his W-2 and be a full time real estate investor.
Johnny has been investing in real estate for over 5 years. He's purchased, rehabbed, & sold 24 single family properties and has recently acquired an 18 unit multifamily apartment, of which he raised capital through notes! Every time he was stationed in a new state, he would rent out his old house and buy a new one to house hack. Johnny has some serious hustle. You'll hear about how he was cold calling in Kuwait at midnight trying to make deals happen in the states, amazing!
Not only is Johnny full time in the military, & part time in his real estate business, but he also acquired a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, and a Financial Planning & Services Certification from Northwestern University! Be sure not to miss this one!
