Mason Moreland is an active real estate investor in a growing niche, literally. He specializes in syndication, development, and operation of large mechanized wine grape vineyards in the Texas High Plains. With a background as a biologist and 9 years in traditional real estate investing, Mason found himself in a unique position to attack a market gap in the Texas wine industry, targeting fruit production for high-value mid-priced wine. His company, Texas Vine Country, uses syndication and vineyard mechanization to scalably develop vineyards to produce high yield, high quality wine grapes for Texas wineries at incredible prices.
This episode is going to be extremely different than any other type of investing we've ever even talked about on the show or honestly, that I've ever even heard about when you look at the industry as a whole, because we're talking about agricultural investing. In this episode, Mason dives into how this type of investment looks and the that returns investors can expect from it. He also shares with us how he got into this type of business and why investors should look into the agriculture sector. Listen in!
