biology is a science of life, different forms of life, so we cannot explain the origin of

different forms of life because biology exists only when you have different forms of life.

So basically these kind of origin questions, they require some other type of knowledge.

The knowledge that surpasses or goes beyond what we can learn

Well, here's a question for you. To reconcile faith in science, is it enough to say God could have used evolution?

Many Christians adopt this theistic evolution point of view, and it's now treated as the quasi-official Catholic position.

But can this view really harmonize Scripture, theology, and modern science? Or is there a better approach?

Today, I begin a two-part conversation with Father Michael Haberick and Steve Green,

authors of a new book called Creation or Evolution, a Catholic Dilemma.

Father Haberick is a Dominican friar of the Polish province,

with a doctorate in systematic theology from Cardinal Stefan Wazinski University in Warsaw.

He directs the Steno Institute for Faith and Science.

He has published three books in English and many articles on the Faith Science Dialogue.

He seeks to renew the Catholic theology of creation

through a new intelligent design

and progressive creation paradigm.

Steve Green is director of Holy Family Institute

of Catholic Faith and Life,

and host of the Reasonably Rational YouTube Podcast.
