Summary

Creation is pregnant and waiting on you and I to show her what she needs to deliver. Creation cannot produce what's in her until you and I unlock her by showing her you and I finally reformed back in the image of the one that created us. We're finally believing that we're predestined to be conformed into the image of the Son and it's bringing creation back into it's original intended form.

0:35.0	that I believe going to help us to understand more of even what we mean when we say Theosis.
0:41.0	Theosis is from the Greek word Theos, which is a word for God.
0:46.8	That word is used by the apostle Paul more than it's used by anybody else in all of the
0:52.2	New Testament. This idea of Theosis is an offshoot of Theos and in the Latin it would be
1:00.9	divinization or we could even use the word deification and we've been
1:06.0	talking about this for quite some time but now I want to bring it into some a little
1:10.8	bit more Pauline lens a little bit more of a Pauline lens because I want us to see how
1:17.4	our journey into Theosis is what unlocks creation according to Romans 8.
1:24.0	Our journey into theosis is what unlocks creation.
1:29.0	Our failure to journey into theosis is what's caused creation to remain what the passion
1:38.0	translation says in Romans 8 is a slavery to futility.
1:43.0	And as long as you and I remain slaves to futility,
1:46.7	the created order will remain slaves to futility.
1:51.4	And I need to help us stop thinking in terms of the glory being
1:56.7	dying and going to heaven and begin to think in terms of the glory being
2:01.3	you out and I operating in the fullness of that that we've been
2:04.8	predestined to become. Once predestined to be conformed into the image of his
