And really that's one of the biggest fundamental challenges is I came in thinking it would be this

and we discovered it's requiring that of me of you of us of kids of parents

of step parents of co-parents and I didn't know I was going to have to do that so

here's the question like like when you're presented

with that opportunity, are you willing

to learn, to grow into who you have to be?

And if you are, man, I'm telling you, blended families can be amazing, dynamic, wonderful,

redeeming for children and for adults.

But you got to put it into work, you got to be willing to grow, and if you are bringing the real back to relationships. Yes sir. I'm

greatest challenge in our marriage as we've discussed on multiple episodes. But as

we've also told you all before is we believe that the key to a successful

marriage is the successful application of knowledge. So we went on this journey to really discover

what are the keys to successful blended families.

And while we were on that journey, we came across this book called The Smart Step Family

Marriage and from the moment we opened up the book, we felt like it had an inside look to our marriage, like the author was a fly on the wall in our home, just watching us.

Not only did we feel understood after reading this book, but we felt empowered to conquer this challenge that we've been struggling with for a majority of our marriage.
