Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi to all you wonderful friends. It's Sally Clarkson and I'm so happy you joined me today.

I am getting to the end of two bucks. One is the life-giving table which has really been

fun for me and every time I give a talk from the life-giving table I get hungry and I want

to go cook something so that's probably good for anybody who's coming to my home that day

or night. And so I am getting to chapter 13 on creating Kindred Spirits, a Christmas

tea for friends old and new. But actually I could just tell you that what we can be talking

about today is just a tea for friends old and new and I'm going to read you the history

of the story but many of you have been writing me letters about how much you have been enjoying

our book Girls Club and I hope that many of you who haven't gotten the book will get it because

in the book Girls Club, Sarah Joy and I talked about how did we develop deep friendships?

What are principles of friendship? How do you love unconditionally when you feel irritated?

What do you do when you're lonely and you feel like crying? You cry. What did we do as girls to

become so close to one another that we actually are going to probably meet for the rest of our

lives? We'll call it Girls Club but we are going to always meet to encourage one another.

We actually had a really fun time last night. It was our Girls Club night and we met at a new

little restaurant and it was really fun and we thought it was too expensive for the small meals

that they gave to us. We walked it together and it was really very precious for me to see my

sweet daughter Sarah who is a mother and a scholar and a wise woman. I mean I go to her all the time
