You know, I never realized how much confidence it takes to be as vulnerable as I am on Instagram

or here on the podcast until up my platform grew very large.

But even on Instagram, you know, you guys read my captions over on my personal account

at Stephanie's underscore Destiny.

And of course, the captions on at Lightworkers Lounge. They're very open. They're very vulnerable. I mean, shit, just June 2018,

going on a couple years now. I literally locked myself in a room inside of an Airbnb cabin outside of Denver, Colorado,

right after I finalized my divorce, and I was just numb and in shock.

Like, I did it.

Oh, God, what does this mean?

What does this entail?

I locked myself in a room, and I hit record on the microphone.

And I released that to the world, and it's still out there for the world.

I haven't listened to it yet because too much, too vulnerable. But I get told every single

day through emails and direct messages, Steph, thank you for being so brave and so confident

in sharing your truth and your authentic story because it has helped me

so much and I just want to acknowledge how brave you are. And these comments, while so kind,

I, to me, there's no other way to live than to be authentic. And I guess perhaps it was both being raised by a very confident mother,

but also just this all-knowing that I'm here for a very specific purpose. And also in all-knowing

that the right people love me for who I am. I don't want to change who I am and hide who I am

because then I'm not attracting people aligned with me.
