Welcome back to another episode of Create Your Shot after a brutal month of July and me screwing up the

schedule last week. I am back. I am Tyler Lori and I am joined as always by my co-host Christopher Smalls, Angelos, and I did want to apologize to everyone

because it was not Smalls' fault that we did not have an episode last week.

We were supposed to and could not get to the recording studio, which is my laptop, but embarrassingly enough, we had a lot of work to do.

So we are back this week with Matt Collier from Queens College in New York City and Smalls he's a former manager just like us

and I thought he gave some unbelievable advice during the course of the episode.

Yeah, Matt's got unbelievable experience.

I think that's one thing I'll say right off the bat.

He's been around the block.

He's been with different coaches under different guys

and really gets it, and he was really open and honest with us which

You know again I really appreciated but honest on different subjects than we've had in the past and

He's a newer head coach three years in and he's figuring it out.

I just think this episode has kind of everything and you know I enjoyed talking to

Matt and you know learning about his perspective and his unique journey.

Yeah, and I think the one thing for us is that we always, you know, we've talked a lot of different guys and we just haven't had a ton of guys that were former managers on and I think, you know, having a guy now who's living out his dream he talks a little

bit about you know what it was like working for free having two jobs the decision to you know work

try to separate from the guy that he worked for as a manager who he worked for a lot of years as a coach to try to create his own path.
