Another one of your buddies from the KAC the CACC maybe the best division two conference in the country I don't know your words not mine but

Dan Burke head men's basketball coach at Wilmington University in

Wilmington Delaware and I love this at this one I thought Smaws and I think I texted you in the middle of this interview that I didn't know Dan you had told me that he was a good dude and you know I knew he was a fan of the podcast but I thought for what we wanted to do when we started this podcast

this was the type of podcast I wanted you know just a different story a guy who's got a

lot of different things it's not even a full-time, but he loves coaching and he was an open book and I thought it was awesome.

I honestly.

I think you're right on. I mean, it's everything kind of, you know, like you said, when we started, we wanted this thing to be about

guys like Dan and there's a way of getting in this business, but sometimes know to be a head coach you're not

getting a full-time paying you're not just focusing on basketball I think he

mentions a lot of different tasks he does at Wilmington to keep it together and you know make a living so that was really cool to hear and yeah I've I've always said Dan's a really good guy. He's really approachable on the road, a quieter guy, but you can always talk to him. So I wanted to have him on and I agree. I think the CACC, the CAC should give me some, I cannot believe I haven't got a call from Dan Mara who's the president of the

Kac at all because I'm putting the conference on the map

Well, I did I did say the thing that he was a quiet guy and he talks a little bit about you know how he networks when he is quieter when it's not the easiest thing for him to just go up and talk to different people and you, that's one thing you've always talked about

is that you're just told like, hey, you've got a network.

Well, what if that's not your forte?

What if you're not an outgoing guy?

And he even makes the comparison to like how as a coach you tell your players they need to be comfortable being uncomfortable and it's the same as a coach and I thought that was one of the more interesting things that we talked about.

We did have a couple, we did have some audio issues. I end up finishing this interview myself because who knows what happened with Smalls's internet when we recorded this.

He just all of a sudden fell off the face of the earth so you don't get small as in 10 touches or parting shots,
