Mirror Mirror on the Wall

Who invented you?

Have you ever considered what went through the mind of the first person who saw their

reflection in a pool of water?

It must have been at the same time magical and frightening.

Do you think they were disappointed or pleased with what they saw?

In 3000 years ago, what do you think King David saw in the crude mirror he held in his hands

as he whispered his confession to God that he was a murdering adulteress?

What do you see when you look in the mirror?

And how is your reflection different than what God sees?

I pray this guided audio meditation from Psalm 51 will help you remember that the dirty,

broken soul that you see in the mirror is clean, pure and righteous in the eyes of God.

These next 15 minutes are a gift for you to know God by remembering how He sees you,

wiped clean with the divine and faithful spirit deep inside you.
