I think on Packernet after dark last night or something, but I know a couple days ago, the podcast, the audio got all jacked up. Very upset about it. That was a fun episode. I enjoyed it. Maybe it's, Maybe it's for the best. I think my audio equipment is starting to censor me like, bro, this is taking a little far. But that was a fun one. And unfortunately, I can't really go back and fix it. And I'm sure as heck not going to go back and re-record the whole thing. But like I said, the next day's audio or the next day's podcast was kind of like part two of that. So you still get a little taste of what that was about. But again, I apologize. I'm aware of the issue. Usually I catch it. And I get very annoyed because it's like, oh, no, how long has this been going on? Oh, 40 minutes. Okay. So I'm starting all the way over. This time I didn't catch it, and I just uploaded it. I guess I didn't go back and check the audio, which I usually don't. I mean, it's just, you know, occasionally I'll go back because I got a, you know, what was I just saying? You know, I go off on a tangent over here, and I have to go back and be like, what the heck was I talking about? and then I'll hear the crazy staticy thing or whatever. Apparently that didn't happen.

So my bad. And I have to go back and be like, what the heck was I talking about? And then I'll hear the crazy, staticky thing or whatever.

Okay, a couple things.

I want to talk about the fifth-year option for Van Ness.

However, real quick, and I don't want to spend a lot of time on this.

I think this is a stupid topic.

But one thing real quick on the, uh, the Racini thing, because I'm, I just, I just want to go down the rabbit hole of possible conspiracy stuff. So it's one of those things where I'm just going

to say it's a crazy conspiracy theory and it's stupid and it's nothing. However, if there's teeth to this, I want credit for getting it first. So one of the

things, and I don't want to go too far down this rabbit hole, but I just want to take you through

my thought process and kind of how I got here. There's a lot of talk about how, you know,

how shameful this is because the woman gets fired and the man gets to stay in his position.

And we always think in this stupid binary and it's lazy thinking. First of all, they're not the same people.

They're not in the same position. Not even, I mean, they're kind of in a similar position from the opposite perspective.

There's different moral issues. They're different legal ethical issues. There's all different

kinds of stuff, not to mention they're in different positions. One is a reporter, one is a head

coach. In other words, if you switched them and the head coach was a female and the reporter

was a male, you'd likely see the same situation where the reporter is the one without a job.
