It is only appropriate on this very sacred day in American history,

September 11th, now the 17th year in a

memorial of the events of September 11th 2001 the horrific terrorist attacks that killed

well over 3,000 Americans in in New York City and in Washington and in Shanksville, PA, only appropriate to remember

their sacrifice and those first responders who did the unthinkable on that day. They ran up into a smoldering

collapsing skyscraper to try to save anybody they could,

knowing with certainty that they were going to die themselves.

That is something that to this day, it just still absolutely blows me away.

And I remember the events of that day as I think we all do and

where we were at the time and how we processed what was happening and really the

feeling in the country in the days and the weeks afterwards.

And it was not fun times, to be sure.

so we're coming close to a generation that has no recollection of the

event in fact you know my own daughters have really no recollection of the
