Bill Handel here on a Saturday as we start the show.

Three lovely, fun-filled hours.

Well, actually, fun-filled for me as I get to abuse you.

Not so much fun for you when I call you an idiot,

and you realize that you have no case, which is always fun.

Now, people think, you know, that's just part of the schick of the show. No, no, no,

I really enjoy telling you you have no case. And the more miserable you are about it, the

happier I am, especially during this holiday season, there's nothing better than ruining

your life. I don't know, just a quick little historical sidebar.

There was a hotel chain.

I don't know if it's still around called the Hemsley, the Hemsley Hotels.

And they were New York base, and Mr. Helmsley died, and his wife, Leona, inherited the hotels.

And she was such an utter, utter bitch on wheels, psychopath that when she would fire people,

and her favorite time to fire people was Christmas Eve.

And I am not exaggerating either.

She took unbelievable joy of giving people their pink slip.

And we're talking like out of the blue.

You know, so if you've ever been fired, you know that when you're about to get fired.

I mean, usually it's not a surprise.

They're unhappy with you.

With her, it was literally out of the blue.
