My crazy boss is obsessed with what I do after work and has made it a point to monitor my

every move. Things are so bad that he is personally reaching out to my dad trying to convince him

that I am just a disappointment and I honestly don't know what to do. I am a 24 year old female

and my boss is in his 50s. We work in construction and there are others that act similar to my boss

and it's really got me worried. My boss makes comments about my life outside of work.

Mind you, it does not interfere with my work. He has said as much and it is nothing I'm remotely

ashamed of. I've worked in construction for years and I'm used to the jabs and the insult at

this point. The issue with my boss is that he knows my dad and had a long conversation with him

divulging all of this information about me. I'm an adult and entirely financially independent

and I live on my own. I told my dad about some of this stuff but my dad doesn't care.

My boss had a lot of outside of work complaints about me. For starters,

he doesn't like the way I park my car. He expects me to back in and takes pictures and lectures me

the next day about it. He doesn't like that I drink and play cards with co-workers some nights

on Saturdays. I drink wine but I don't get drunk and I didn't go home with anybody else.

I also am not late to work and I don't drive when I'm under the influence. He also didn't like

that I started dating a guy for two months and for one of those months, the guy I was dating

started spending the night. I was told by my boss that I needed to raise my standards for who I

date. There are many other situations kind of like this that include my eating habits as well as

my gym habits. I am really upset because I'm practically my boss as assistant. We work very

closely together on a daily basis. I consider him a friend but he told my dad all of these private

things that have nothing to do with my work just to try and make him disappointed in me. After
