How do you act if someone gets hurt at your track? What do you do? I'm going to give you a couple of tips.

I want to give you a couple of tips that I've learned over the years how to keep yourself and your rider safe at your local track.

motocross park. Excuse me, Wildwood Motorcross Park. One of my favorite places to ride and

race in Louisiana. This place is amazing. Great red dirt. Lots of ruts, lots of undulations.

But let's face it, it's motocross and people get hurt. So when I'm working on the track,

I have a couple of rules that I want to abide by, okay?

And I'd like to give that to you.

If you're spectating, watching a race,

or if your kid goes down,

I want you to have a few tips up your sleeve

so that you can be prepared.

Rule number one, I want you to count to 10

before you do anything.

Count to 10, watch your rider on the track.

Scan the track. Watch around see if anybody's coming. See if anybody could potentially hit the

down rider. Is the down rider moving? Do they look like they're trying to get back to their

bike or are they making any effort to try to resume the race? That tells me a lot as a provider

and a practitioner to say, okay, is this guy hurt or is this guy really injured? That tells me a lot as a provider and a practitioner to say,
