What are the top five things you're bringing to the track to protect yourself in case you get injured?

I want to talk to you about some things that I personally bring to the motocross track anytime that I ride or race.

And some things for you to consider too.

We talk about everyday carry nowadays.

It's a big flex to show people on Instagram what kind of knife that you're carrying or what type of cool flashlight and stuff. Well, motorcrossers have an EDC2. They just don't talk and brag about it all too much. I mean, if you think about it, we bring cars and trailers and four-wheelers and pit bikes and all this stuff,

we carry a ton of things to the track.

One of the things I want to take your attention for a second

is to talk about what happens in case of some sort of medical event

or emergency.

Not even an emergency, just about a cut or scrape or something like that.

So here's my top five things for you to think about bringing to the motocross track.

Number one is some sort of tourniquet, some sort of life or limb saving device like this.

It's so small, it's so easy if it's in your pocket.

But in the event that something happens where you cut an artery or you have some sort of main major hemorrhaging or bleeding event,

this will save somebody's life. As you know, most of these motocross tracks, Kentwood, Louisiana, Wildwood, MX included.

It's pretty remote. And so something like this can literally save your life or someone that you care about.

A lot of people would say that they would use a belt or some sort of improvised device.

The studies show that nothing beats something that's dedicated for a tourniquet use.

Okay, so don't use your belt, don't use string or anything like that.
