Hey, it's Kramer, and this is my morning take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting.

Let's get to Starbucks. You spoke to Brian Nicol this morning on Squawk. This was down pre-market, but it has reversed.

I think there was a lot of signs of progress here. The biggest one being comps finally turned positive,

up 1%. We're looking for down. With October, moving? Yes, September, U.S. Coms were strong.

He said that continued in October, positive, I should say, me. Guidance is going to come at the

Investor Day, but some things I want to highlight from the interview

compliments in five years. Complaints are down 10% saying all age demographics are noting progress,

which is much, it's very different from what we heard from Chipotle, which is just crushing the restaurant category today.

Chipotle, they try to blame the consumer, and yet the consumer is willing to pay six bucks

for triple bet the cappuccino is getting wet.

I will tell you that when I speak to Brian Nicol, who was not urging me, this is really

important, not urging me to be that bullish, not in the last four months, changed that,

and said, Jim, I'm giving you the ability to say what you've been waiting to say,

He is doing things that are really extraordinary in the day

parts. He's taken care of the morning. He's got scale. He's got scale in a drive-through. He's got
