I'm Jim Kramer and you're about to hear a sample taken directly from today's

0:06.5

CBC Investing Club morning meeting.

0:09.1

It looks like the market was going to be up and then the information which is an organization

0:15.6

that's a news organization so as being had a piece that was negative about Microsoft particularly

0:20.8

about co-pilot and then all of tech came down, which then brought down the rest of the market.

0:24.6

But now we're having a bounce back, and I think we're having a bounce back because interest rates are lower, in some cases dramatically, because of some data we got.

0:33.6

And the market is taking a screw from interest rates, not necessarily from

0:38.5

tech. Yeah, ADP was weak. It was a decline, a surprise decline, looking for a gain of 40,000 jobs.

0:47.4

It was minus 32. They also say job creation has been flat in the second half of the year. But on the

0:53.6

other hand, ISM services, that came out at 10 a.m. That actually was a little bit better than expected and prices paid move lower. So... Which is Nirvana. You know, we got to recognize that. But it does seem at the Fed meeting next week, we are lined up for a 25 basis point cut. Things can always change.

1:10.9

But yeah, you are seeing some nice moves in retail today.

1:13.9

We were just mentioning Home Depot, Nike, Proctor's hire after saying some downbeat things

1:19.4

yesterday.

1:20.4

Well, I mean, look, I don't want to be, look, I used to trade for a limit.

1:25.1

And when you have a stock late proctor and gamble on the cost of 3% yield, you don't have any choice. You have to hold your nose a buy recognizing the Proctor sees itself. Proctor's been a company. I fought for quite a long time, including there was a CEO who I called for his firing and put them on a wall shame. And one of the things that's really clear to me is they don't tolerate, they don't

1:44.6

tolerate missing numbers. People don't understand that's a real company. So you buy Procter

1:49.9

when they miss numbers, knowing that the people who are involved in the missing numbers will

1:53.4

not be involved with the company. Yeah.
