| 0:00.0 | Jim Kramer here to share with you a sample of my take on the market from today's |
| 0:06.7 | CNBC Investing Club morning meeting. |
| 0:08.8 | You know, something, Jeff, periodically you'll have a run like we've had. |
| 0:14.4 | And then out of nowhere you'll wake up in the, and interest rates go higher. |
| 0:17.9 | And people still are, they're not complacent. When interest rates go higher, |
| 0:22.5 | they say themselves, well, you know, we do have a Trump trade, but we have to temper a bit. And that's what's |
| 0:26.9 | happening today. Yeah, and the bond market was closed yesterday, so we're seeing more of an impact |
| 0:31.7 | today. Yields are rising. You have the 10-year yield almost at 4.4%. It's come off a little bit since then. |
| 0:38.3 | But yeah, the two-year yield, highest level since July 31st. |

| 1:04.2 | the HELOC are lower rates and the Fed is going to lower rates. This is an opportunity for people. It should not be down. |
| 1:12.6 | Yeah, I think your point about Helock very well taken, that's the home equity line of credit. |
| 1:17.6 | So those are going to follow the short-term rates, right? So the Fed cuts will have a direct benefit there. |
| 1:23.6 | Now we have seen a rise in longer-term rates and mortgages. That's going to take some time. |
| 1:29.4 | But management argued that even a stabilization will have a positive impact too. Remember, |
| 1:34.4 | any time you get mortgages under six, that's when you start to see activity pick up. And, you know, |
| 1:41.1 | that will unlock a huge amount of pen-up demand for projects, which they talked about on the earnings call. But we just need to see, look, housing turnover. It's at a 40-year low. It's about 3% of homes. You need to see that pick up a bit. But it's the bottom, right? Right. And that's why, I mean, you're getting a gift here. I mean, maybe this thing falls a couple. |
| 2:01.5 | But you know that we only, we have a small position. |
| 2:04.1 | Still only a 2% after the buy. |
