CBC Investing Club morning meeting.

Why don't we take a step back first?

What is Deep Seek, right?

It's a Chinese startup, a large language model.

Basically, it was created, it's an open source model.

It was developed in two months at a cost of under

$6 million. That's what they claim, which I think is key. And what it's doing today is if people

are looking at, they're comparing deep seek, which actually has some favorable comparables to like

a chat, GPT, large language models like that.

And what the market is saying today is if Deep Sea can do this so efficiently,

why should there be this huge spending wave on Nvidia chips,

and do we need so many data centers?

And is that going to, you know, is our energy needs really going to be so crunch?

So that's the question people are having today when there are questions

no answers

it's just natural that people sell so let's say you know viti at the low

at this moment okay broadcom at the low this moment

what is the case to sell broadcom here in invidia here and what is the case to

buy well well the case would be

that um you know if people have if companies can figure out how to make these large language models

more efficiently then why do we need to spend so much and why do we need to spend so much on
