I'm Jim Kramer and you're about to hear a sample taken directly from today's CBC Investing Club morning meeting.

The market is trying to furiously figure out what to pay for earnings given the fact that the forecast from so many companies is negative.

So of course we're giving back our gains from yesterday.

We also have some

worrisome job cut numbers from Challenger, rates are flattish, but I think what I

think matters the most. We're oversold. Now we're not really oversold. We're

minus four. But the idea of selling anything into this morass is wrong. I've got a

lot of technicians telling me to sell.

I actually like that because they tend to speak in unison.

I'm looking to buy.

Sure.

I mean, when you have the cash on hand too, you can certainly be a little bit more opportunistic.

Made a round of buys two days ago.

Had another round of buys yesterday.

good buy uh Goldman sacks honeywell sales force in the afternoon uh and you know still looking to

put some of that cash position to work we're at about 11 percent you know just rounding up to 11

percent so um when prices come down you got to look for discounts and Jeff and I go over the list and we say, oh, wow, well, we sold some Starbucks very high.

What should we do?

We sold some Disney high.

What should we do?

What we do is against the grain.
