| 0:00.0 | Hey, it's Kramer, and this is my morning take on the market from today's CBC Investing Club morning meeting. |
| 0:07.0 | Today's one of those days I did my show with David, and I hate to say it, but it was a bit sign-filled like it was much about, you know, it was a show about nothing. |
| 0:15.0 | And the reason is because we didn't really have any big reports last night. |
| 0:18.0 | But what we do have is a market that's heavy and in part because it's being led once again by the near-do-well banks. And then SkyWorks Solutions is |
| 0:27.1 | bringing everything down. And Western Digital Skyworks bringing everything down. And then ASDAQ, |
| 0:31.3 | I would say this is a contra-trend day. And if the debt ceiling weren't hanging over our head, |
| 0:36.9 | then we would be saying, let's pick, |
| 0:38.2 | but we can't pick. Right. So you have Biden set to meet some congressional leaders later today. |
| 0:43.2 | CPI tomorrow, another big event that perhaps there's some anxieties over, which is why we're seeing |
| 0:49.1 | a little bit of selling today. Well, CPI is going to be hurt by rent because rent is higher because |
| 0:51.9 | housing is higher. But there is one takeaway that I want to take advantage of, which is that the downgrades that we saw with Under Armour and the weakness in the quarter is not reflective of Foot Locker. Foot Locker sells almost no Under Armour. As a matter of fact, Under Armour's losing share to everybody, including On, which is the featured shoe of Foot Locker. So I'd like to be able to buy some Foot Locker. Here we have a 4% yield with Mary Dylan. |
| 1:15.6 | It's crazy. |
| 1:16.6 | Yeah, if you go to any Foot Locker conference call or any store, it's the On Shoes Hook. |
| 1:20.6 | Those are the ones that really emphasizing. |
| 1:22.6 | And of course, Nike as well. |
| 1:24.6 | No real mention of Under Armour. |
| 1:26.6 | So there might be some selling in that sport, athletic wear group today as people try to make re-throughs into one company into another, but perhaps not the same. |
| 1:35.7 | Look, I'd rather make a re-through from Boeing to Honeywell than I would make. |
| 1:39.4 | Well, I think that's a really good one. So Boeing in the news, they secure that big order from Ryanair. The two companies |
| 1:45.1 | were feuding for so long, couldn't agree overpriced. But Ryanair is said to buy at least 150, |
| 1:50.8 | 737 max planes options via under 157 more. They were out there, changes the industrials. I think the |
| 1:56.6 | industrials, I'm working on a couple of industrials for the, the industrials are probably the strongest group that should be the weakest group, right? |
