CNBC Investing Club morning meeting.

Let's talk about Corning next because I think there was a big validation of our thesis today.

This was news.

A CNBC exclusive, META is paying Corning $6 billion through 2030 for fiber-optic cable and AI data centers.

Corning, they're also going to expand a facility in North Carolina to accommodate growing demand from

meta and other big spenders like NVIDIA, OpenAI, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, the big hypers.

And when complete, this is going to be the largest fiber optic cable plant in the world.

Company reports tomorrow, stocks up huge, 15%.

It's the biggest gainer in the S&P 500 today.

But yeah, it's exactly what we've been waiting for these deals because copper is too expensive,

it runs hot.

And I don't think people realize that if you go into a data center like I have, it's

just filled with copper.

There's copper within the chips that's still going to be there, but there's copper

that connects the different ones.

So there'll be, let me just be a little.

So you have these racks, okay, server racks, and they're connected,

and this is all copper. All these connections are copper. And they are going to be pulled out,

and fiber will come in. Copper is really expensive. Fiber is very cheap. Fiber burns much cooler than copper.

So if it's good for meta, it will be good for every hyper-scaler. Don't sell the stock,

except the fact that, like I was saying with Starbucks yesterday, when it goes up like this,
