Some podcasts are harder to do than others because the table is feeling really empty right now.

If you haven't heard last week's

podcast I encourage you to start there with a message from John and Stacy, but

we're celebrating the life of Craig McConnell this month of August.

August 1st, he entered into the kingdom.

He is in a great place.

We are celebrating and also mourning the loss here on this side of a really dear friend.

And about a year and a half ago, Morgan and I sat around this very table with Craig.

We did a three-part series, titled The Difference of a Decade,

and it was basically us each looking back at our life over the past decade.

And we wanted to re-air that podcast of Craig talking about, dreaming about the future, the past decade, where he was at that

stage in his life.

And so Morgan and I just wanted to reintroduce that to you because although it's a year and a half old

that gives you a great taste of the joy and the passion and just the immense love of life that Craig had.

Alan, I really appreciate your words.

They're so true, this table does feel much emptier now than it did when we recorded that conversation. It's

amazing when you go back and listen to an audio that at the time it did feel

weighty and it felt holy but now having Craig crossed over to the fullness of the kingdom

the words take on that much more meaning that much more richness. It was a gift for me to go back to this time that we

shared around the table and it's sure a gift to share it with all of you

listeners again today.
