When umpires cost you two outs, that's a big deal.

That's an inning, you know, that's an inning over.

Yep, they didn't see it.

And I don't think you ever really see some of those plays, like a hit by pitch.

You don't necessarily see it, but when the player reaction on the field,

every player's reaction on the field is kind of very obvious.

That's what they go on in those situations.

And I thought player reaction on the field was very obvious.

And I was shocked when they got together that they didn't think it was.

Craig Counsel was tossed out of yesterday's finale in Colorado.

The Cubs had the game in hand, Seas Suzuki with the Grand Slam, and the guys

kind of just kept hitting after that.

They salvage a win in Colorado before they start their series tonight against the San

Francisco Giants, which you can hear right here on the score.

I enjoyed watching that because I completely understood where Craig was coming from.

And I also think that it may have been a necessary evil.

If you are someone, and this is something that we have discussed, whether we're talking

to Nico or to Craig about the outward

appearance of caring. I think it ends up being something that is both functional and can

be used in that way as propaganda if Craig wants. Like he was righteously indignant and it made sense even though like it's not technically

something that can be replayed, but here's my opportunity to get loose.
