He had a gambling addiction, and it led to him committing securities fraud, wire fraud, and they say that he defrauded 4.8 million from investors.

He did his time.

He served his time nobly.

He's out and working again, and all of that is very good.

And Craig Carton, as a guy recovering recovering from a gambling addiction had this to say.

For those of you that ask the question, it's a fair question asked, if you have that much money, why would you gamble?

And it's a very fair question and one that I can answer because I did it.

But to my understanding, it's not gambling even.

It's that they were paid to like lure guys in and they got a percentage of the fix.

Like they played poker and then in parentheses and at the end of the day they were given a cut of what they took off the people is my understanding of it it wasn't that they were playing in a poker game it was that they were part of getting luring people in to take their money which i'm still fascinated is a thing and i gave you guys the example off the air it's like if you sleep with a prostitute that you got off the street and you get herpes, suing the prostitute for having herpes, well, I mean, you're not supposed to be getting a hooker off the street anyway. Like it's just like if you're an illegal poker game and they take you, like that's kind of just the price. If you're dumb enough to be betting millions of dollars in a poker game and they take you,

that's kind of just how it is.
