Another Toronto Maple Leafs press conference, this one from the Ford Performance Center again,

the formal introduction of Craig Barraubei as the new head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Welcome inside the studio, Merrick along with you, alongside Matt Marquese.

We will hear from the newly minted head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Craig Barubi.

We'll run down his bio here in a couple of seconds before we default to Brad Trill Living,

who will also speak in

Brendan Shanahan, president of the Toronto Maple Leafs, who will speak as well.

Maddie, before we get there and hear from Barubi and hear from Trulving and hear from

Shanahan, me personally, I'm curious, well, a couple of things.

One, why he chose Toronto. There's a number of other teams we think in New Jersey specifically that were interested in the services of Craig Barouba. But what I'm most curious about is how does he plan to use this roster, even though, Maddie, we know this roster is going to change. Yeah, it's, you wonder how it affects the stars, right? Because those are the guys that are going to carry team.

And which stars are going to be around now that Craig Barubei is the coach? Well, that's not his decision. No, but I would assume he's going to have some influence on, hey, I like this guy or whatever. But yes, I understand at the end of the day, it's going to be Bradshaw-Living's call. but very interested to see what he does say because I do wonder about, you know,

Yeah, yeah, you put your wallet away, you'll never pay for anything and you might go to the hockey Hall of Fame in the process because if it was successful in Toronto

and you need to look no further back than the 1967 team and everybody

involved, I'm not going to lie, pretty much everybody went to the Hall of Fame

for that team.

The thing that I'm curious about here is too.

When you look at all the players that Craig Barubei has coached, okay, in his time coaching in the NHL, whether it's Philadelphia, whether it's St. Louis.
