Did you know that you are

know that you are constantly being watched? That's right, you are being watched in every moment by everyone around you.

Your kids are watching you. Your spouse is watching you. Your

teammates, clients, and vendors are watching you. Your friends, neighbors, and

church members are watching you. Even the clerks at your favorite stores and the waiters and waitresses at the restaurants you frequent.

They are all watching you, and your every action and reaction

is shaping their perspective and altering their futures. It's important that you understand that.

Who you are and how you show up in this world matters. It matters to everyone in your

witness. You have an impact, a profound and life-altering impact.

You see I believe that we are all called to this glorious adventure called life for a reason

to fulfill some special purpose, to influence, to impact, to contribute something unique to those around you,

something that wouldn't have existed if you hadn't arrived.

Joseph Campbell called this your hero's journey. He described it like this.

A hero ventures forth from the world of the common day into a region of

supernatural wonder. Fabulous forces are there encountered and a decisive victory is won.

The hero comes back from this mysterious adventure with the power to bestow boons

on his fellow man. What this means is we all live in the common world, but when the challenge arises,

when the opportunity presents itself, the hero ventures forth. He or she answers the call. They cross the threshold from the common world

into the region of supernatural wonder. The supernatural world is one's personal growth journey.

There, in that inner journey, fabulous forces are there encountered.
