Michael, great to talk to you, really appreciate you saying yes, and we were just having a little bit of a common experience.

This is being recorded the morning after Ole Miss wraps up a win in the Lincoln Regional and some late nights, some early mornings. What kind of

sports fan are we a superstitious? Are we a nervous sports fan? How do we sort of interact over

the course of games like that that just happened for Ole Miss over the last three days?

Well, it's pretty funny, Chase. First of all, I know I'm in survival mode like you are. Unfortunately for me, I was awake last night. Fortunately for you, I was listening to you. So I didn't get to sleep until late. And then our youngest had a migraine last night. So Warren took the late shift. I took the early shift and I got a bunch of coffee here in my cup. So ready to roll. But man, I do get superstitious sometimes. My 15 year old is much more than a superstitious fan than I am. I try to sit in the same spot or if I get nervous, I'll get up and walk around. And it was so funny watching her last night. Get up and down up and down it was it was a ball but uh glad the revs could pull it out for us you know this is my job so i don't do it with old miss but i'm a big saints fan used to be a big braves fan but i just don't necessarily have the emotional and time capacity during college baseball season to do the mowb thing before but i'm i was bad enough with stuff where I would turn it off at times. I would just turn it off. I would look at the game tracker because I felt like for some reason if I just see the result, it's better than watching it in real time. And in today's streaming world, look, it's the one positive to being behind the real action is if you see something went well, you still have time to turn

over there and watch it. But if it went bad, I'll turn it off. Like, yeah, move around. So I have this visual thing where I try to, I try to avoid it as much as I can. But it's, look, that happened this year. We were down one of the baseball games that we came back from, I can't remember how many down, I was outside

we eating. I turned the TV off and was so mad and had my headphones on. One of my neighbors

was coming by and she stopped me in the road and said, are you listening to the game when

your headphones? I was like, no, we were getting smoked. She said, y'all just came back at one.

So sometimes I get mad, turned off.

I guess that's the Ole Miss life.

Kids ranging from 15 to 7.

Do they know what you do?

Or what do they think you do?

Yeah.

So they know that, as I tell them, look, I try to help people.

That's what it's about. Love God, help others.

And they've gotten a good, good shot of that. My 15 year old more than the others, my 13 year old

gets it now. She likes to travel. She likes to talk. So every now and then we'll be in an event.

I'll let her take the microphone. But she's she's, she's kind of the little politician,

I think. My 15 year old, she got to see it from the Senate all the way up. So she's a little more
