posted on social media that I tested positive for COVID there was no political point to be made. I was just sharing the fact that, you know,

after two and a half years of this COVID pandemic, it had come to the sad household.

Earlier in the week, my son had tested positive and then now I tested positive

The rest of the family hasn't yet

I wasn't trying to share any political message. I wasn't trying to share any political message I wasn't trying to argue for vaccines or against vaccines

but I noticed in the few messages that I read some people were very nice you, get over at 12 soon and so on. And then of course other people were just unbelievably vitriolic and you know you're a moron, you're an idiot, we thought you were a serious scholar but you got jad and so on it just

exactly demonstrates what happens to tribalism rather than simply say hey I hope you

get over whether it's a cold whether it's a serious virus or it's not.

Look, I used to have severe asthma and when I get, say, bronchitis, it goes down to my chest. So this is pre-Covid and I could be sick

for six eight weeks very severely and so if only from that perspective getting some

you know a virus that can affect your respiratory system could be bad.

I started coughing really badly yesterday.

Today I'm feeling maybe a bit better and it may just end up being a,

you know, a trivial virus that I beat very quickly.

But again, the idea that people should be insulting you

and attacking you and all this just demonstrates the darkness of people's heart.

You know, if you don't have anything nice to say, maybe keep quiet, maybe just say, hey,

get well soon, drink some soup, and move on.

Any case, just to give you a good sense of what's been going on.

For those who you've not necessarily had it, you know, yesterday felt a lot of aches felt stuffy started going down to my chest

today I've been coughing a bit but I definitely did try to stay active by walking around and so on. I don't want my streak of steps to suddenly be broken and so I'm trying my best to stay active to all those who wrote nice messages
