This is an incredibly important week of events that are threatening to shape our near future

here.

So one of those, one of those events is what's happening in France.

So let's jump right into the headlines here.

France, Greece and France joined Italy and making COVID-19 shots mandatory for healthcare

workers, telling the unvaccinated they won't get paid.

But that's not all.

Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, says that starting in August, anyone who wants

to visit restaurants, cafes, shopping malls are going to have to show a health, a digital

health pass to show proof that they've been vaccinated or that they've had recently

a negative test for coronavirus.

Well just basically 48 hours after that announcement by President Macron, French, the people in

France took to the streets, protests immediately after this all over.

And it was July 14th.

This is a very important day in France.

It's like July 4th here in the US.

It's Bastille Day in France commemorating the storming of the Bastille on 1789.

That was a Paris state prison for political prisoners.

And it came to represent a harsh ruling monarchy of King Louis, the 16th of Mary Antoinette.

But that kicked off the French Revolution.

And the people of France chose that day to protest this push of vaccines, this mandate

on healthcare workers and the digital pass that's coming in there.
