As we hurt all ever closer to yet another deadline next week, ladies and gentlemen,

the best laid plans are being made for thousands of families trying to get away before the school year starts again.

After the trauma of A-level results in GCSE grades, there are exhausted parents up and down the country trying to figure out exactly what to do.

And if there is a more complicated collection of rules, bylaws, regulations and guidance, I don't know where you'll find it.

You might not think going on holiday is important to you, but it is absolutely vital for an awful lot of people who have been working non-stop or hold up in their tiny flats for months on end. A cheap getaway is all they crave. And if they

have got children, they have to go while the school holidays are on. It's that simple. But there

are still massive roadblocks in the way. Traffic light systems, testing requirements, vaccine passports

to name but a few. This morning, we'll to travel expert paul charles to try and make

sense of it all and we need your stories as well particularly around the testing shambles because

we're being told that they want to put a ceiling on the amount of money that can be charged for these

tests whether they be antigen tests before you go on holiday whether they be PCR tests when you

come back from holiday the whole thing is a complete and utter mess, I have to say.

Doctors hiding behind receptionists and delays months long

for procedures that should have been done last year.
