It is the start of a brand new month today, the very same month, that one year ago saw life in this country changing into something fairly recognisable. Talking to people over the weekend, there is definitely a sense out there that we have now become way too accepting of some rules and some regulations that we would previously have ignored. But we have also become immune to some of the

things the government is trying to make us do as well. The weather in some parts of Britain

conspired yesterday to encourage more people than ever to hit the beaches, the parks and the

open markets of this great country of ours. However, stories of overzealous police, over-enthusiastic

revelers and secret parties have been reaching me more and more.

I heard of some people being given a £200 fine in parts of London yesterday because they were two miles from their homes.

This can't be right and it can't be going on and it has to stop.

This morning we're kicking off with Le Anderson, Tori MP for Ashfield, of course,

and he's going to have plenty to say about the Times front page this morning about more pretty pretel measures to crack down on people smuggling across the

channel. Given what Nigel Farage told talk radio on Saturday, it seems there is still an awful lot

left to do. He basically said that not only were the migrants still coming on dinghies across the

channel, but some of them are now bringing COVID with them at the same time. 0344-49-1,000. Coming up later on, Peter Hitchens joins us,

he revealed yesterday in his mail on Sunday column that he's taken the vaccine and admitted defeat

against the government's lockdown policy. Ever since, he's been accused of everything from

betrayal to letting down the entire lockdown skeptics movement.
