Welcome to the Barnyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the hump day. It is in the yard much later than I wanted to be. It's one of those days where it seemed like everything that I was like, okay, I'm going to do this. And it seems like nothing went right for me this morning. But here we are. A little bit later than normal, but better late than never. And it's been a big day.

Signing day, some more cancellations in the SEC,

but let's talk about a little bit about, you know, kind of what's going on with all that.

There's a lot of connections reportedly to Halloween parties and that sort of stuff and

kind of off-the-field activities.

SEC Commissioner Greg Sanky kind of echoed that sentiment earlier today.

But a lot of this stuff has just come from college kids being college kids.

I know a lot of people have said, well, you know, football is going to have all this,

this infection rates are going to skyrocket because of college football, and that just

hasn't been the case.

And I've read with great interest, even some of the, you know, the leading disease experts

have said there just hasn't been any or very little, if any,

player to player transference due to competition.

It's incredible to think about that.

So there's a lot about kind of what we know,

and as we move along, we learn more.

But the bottom line is it was going to be a full weekend of college football.

It's going to be somewhat abbreviated now.

As you guys know, your Bulldogs, not playing this Saturday.

We kind of talked about that a little bit on Monday, that that was a possibility.

Because I don't think that many of our fans fully appreciated how close it was to being canceled last week.

It was very, very close.
