Week one of the NFL is upon us, and so is one of the strangest dramas in the history of the game. It's happening in Houston,

where the Texans are paying millions to healthy quarterback to Sean Watson, one of the top players

in the league. They're paying him to not play. He's a bench warmer. He's probably going to be

inactive. The Texans appear off

their rocker doing this as they're playing a long game, hoping for a bigger hall and a potential

trade for their young signal caller. How bizarre this story is. Former Jayock basketball star,

Paul Pierce, is headed into the Hall of Fame in Massachusetts, and he's more than deserving. In advance of the big night, he's done a lengthy interview

blasting ESPN and its silly corporate structure. It's good stuff and he's right. Now,

while Paul Pierce is certainly no role model, he wins high marks from KKHI for speaking his mind

in the interview and being truthful.

Some recent comments I made about the possibility of Mizzou getting off to a big start this year

has not played well with some Tiger fans who think I'm downplaying the strength of their schedule.
