Well, we haven't been doing any COVID daily news podcast because the NBA has been going

crazy and that's my primary job.

But now with the NBA finals, a little bit slower of a pace and, you know, some smith-switching

news on the COVID front here, I sent an emergency email to Dr. Carl Bergstrom who was going

to rejoin us again for the third time, which we really appreciate.

And we're going to talk about President Trump and the coronavirus.

How are you doing, Doctor?

That's good to see you or to say hello anyway.

I guess I don't see you today.

Yeah, I should do these over Zoom, actually, but this is just absolutely crazy times right

now at the president releasing on Thursday night that he had tested positive for the coronavirus.

There's an outbreak now at the White House.

Just as you've been following this so closely, I mean, maybe the place to start is just,

you know, what are some of the prevailing thoughts that you've had about this situation

as you looked at it?

Well, I mean, it's, you know, first of all, it's a shocking and really disturbing situation

to, to, you know, to find that the president has the coronavirus and, in fact, may not be

doing as well as we would like to see.

And then, you know, the second piece of this is just the breadth to which this outbreak

seems to have gone.

I mean, we've got a reasonably large number of people quite high up in multiple branches

of government who have now been infected.
