Hello there and welcome to the Thinking Fellows podcast. My name is Caleb and I'm joined by Scott Keith and Adam Francisco.

We are talking about vocation today and quality today. And I think even a little bit about thinking locally today, we're going to do, we're going to stretch our reach on the thinking fellows, and we're going to do

borderline cultural commentary, which is always dangerous. We've done this twice before, and I,

how'd it pan out last? I think it went well. You know, I only got like two sort of iffy emails

last time. Were they like, why are you guys doing this? Get back to theology? We were really like, you guys are dumb.

No, it was like, you guys are wrong.

Which I'm good with that email.

I can deal with the, you're wrong email.

Okay.

The other one that is, yeah, go get back to theology.

I think we've had that one too.

I remember during the first year of the Thinking Fellows, it was like month six,

got an email of somebody who said, maybe this person is still a listener. So hopefully you can laugh at

this, but that they were sick of the four minutes of banter we would have at the beginning of the show

and that they wished we would just hop right in to the theology

every episode. And that was one of the funniest emails to me, because it was just something

about the show that we weren't willing to change, especially in the early days. It was really

about hanging out in the garage. Well, yeah, I mean... We do what we want. Yeah, that's right. We do

as your dad says, I do what I want.

At the end of the day, when we started this show, it was supposed to sort of reflect conversations that would happen in Rod's backyard.

And those conversations were never limited to just history, theology, and apologetics.

Now, they often, those were often subjects, but it was never limited to that.
