Hey, thanks for having me.

Tavi is on today because this is the 10th York site, as you might say, of Ed Koch, who

was a key figure in the turnaround of urban America that took place actually after the end

of his mayoralty in the 1990s and beyond.

And we are now heading back into the sloth of Disman from which he helped remove us.

And we're going to talk about Ed Koch and his legacy, which is the subject of Tavi's

piece in the current issue of commentary available at commentary dot org. But before we do
