0:33.7	It is a pediatric podcast for moms and dads.
0:37.0	This is Dr. Mike, and I'm usually coming to you from the campus of nationwide children's hospital.
0:43.1	But today I'm coming to you from my home.
0:46.7	And I'll explain why.
0:47.9	You probably already know.
0:49.7	But I'll explain why in just a moment.

0:58.6	We're calling this one COVID-19, social distancing and flattening the curve.

1:07.5	So things are going to be a little bit different this week and moving forward on PEDAcast, just like everything else in life right now.
1:16.3	I mentioned last week that we're going to start calling this a pandemic.
1:20.0	And boy, I really didn't want to be right about that.
1:22.4	But I just saw the writing on the wall and knew it was coming.

1:28.0	My clinical job is that I'm a general pediatrician.
1:31.8	As long-time listeners know, I worked in a pediatric practice for 10 years, seeing kids.
1:38.5	I now work with emergency medicine at nationwide children's and work in our emergency department
