With such a broad range of topics and an often birds-eye view of the situation, it can be easy to forget that this is a large-scale event happening to individual people. The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic are widespread but also deeply personal and absolutely unique. In this episode, we wanted to take this opportunity to recognize this aspect by featuring firsthand accounts that we have received from listeners over the last several months sharing their pandemic experiences. 1:17.0	Yeah, 19. 19. So over the last year and plus year and several months, we've covered so many
1:26.0	different angles of the COVID-19 pandemic and we've asked so, so many questions, so many questions,
1:34.0	so many. Some of them have been very big picture like how has the pandemic amplified these
1:39.3	already existing health disparities and some have been very detailed like what have we learned
1:44.9	about the SARS-CoV-2 service proteins and the role that they play in clinical disease.
1:50.8	But throughout all of these episodes and all of these topics, there's been one linking factor
1:57.2	and that is that this pandemic is happening to all of us. Yeah. If you've listened to the podcast
2:03.4	before either with this COVID series or in our normal episodes, you know that one thing we
2:09.2	always include is a first-hand account and we do that to humanize the disease or the topic that
2:14.8	we're covering to remind ourselves and everyone listening that these are real things happening
2:20.4	to real people and for many of us, I think this pandemic has really brought that point home.
