cover story for the album Ramones put out by the band Ramones um not the Ramones that's

a you know correct I'm just correcting myself on that now I called them the Ramones no they're the Ramones. That's, that's a, you know, I'm just correcting myself on that now. I called them the Ramones. No, they're just Ramones. Um, and it is a true punk rock album and the fact that it deals with like all sorts of issues like, uh, things in the basement and violence and relationship issues and things like that.

So, you know, take this, take this with a grain of salt. It's the art, not the artist, right? Exactly.

It came out April 23rd, 1976, and this was a band that was discovered in New York City.

Just really, really, really strong debut.

Only four dudes in the band for the first album, Joey, D.D., Tommy.
