I thought this would be a good time to talk about cover crops for

some of you in the country it's a bit late to go ahead and plan a winter cover crop

many of you still can we'll talk about that we'll talk about how cover cropping is not just for wintertime,

that there are indeed warm weather cover crops. We can plant some cover crops and some climates coming into spring leading into summer planting.

We can inter crop cover crops with active crops. We'll talk about all of this and more.

We'll talk about building soil armor creating quorum sensing in our soils why this is so

important somebody already asked and we'll cover this and I may even come back around.

Like is it worth doing in a really small garden?

Yeah, it is and when you hear everything I have to say about this today,

you will, you'll see why really quickly.

What we're always doing when we're growing anything

is we're trying to create life and life begets life.

And so so many of us us even people are doing organic practices no till etc

They're they're basically getting into a situation where the soil is largely dead, there's no life in the

soil in their fallow periods. They think they're resting the ground, but what

they're actually doing is arresting life in the ground. But what they're actually doing is arresting life in the ground.

We are retarding life.

We are basically screwing things up.
