While we were talking about this and that at supper time,

Walt's father started talking about the African custom of how the two parents decide on a mate for

their children and if the young man's parents have decided on the girl that they want their son to marry,

then they take a goat to that family as a gift.

And so he said, looking at my mother and me, he said,

so we have a little goat out in the car.

We were shocked.
