Mayett, Associate Professor of Chemistry at Hillsdale College. Dr. Mayatt, thanks for joining

us. Thank you for having me. So I was reading recently, not intentionally, I don't always read

the UK papers, but I'll link out to a story about a family in the United Kingdom that was

cleaning their fish tank. I guess essentially, actually, all the fish had died and said they were

deconstructing the fish tank, had some coral inside, and in the, in the, in the, in the,

uh, in the cleaning of the coral ended up releasing an extremely toxic material that sent

them all to the hospital. And so I was reading it's palatoxin and it's not unprecedented.

And you know, Google it and you can see a couple of stories kind of similar.

You know, fish tank cleaning, coral, toxin, hospital.

So I've never even heard of the palatoxin before.

How prevalent is the substance?

Yeah, yeah.
