Welcome to Flag planting season. It is time to plant some flags in the ground.

Talking about a body who doesn't follow fantasy football is not a sicko die hard like most of us.

And he's like who are you betting on to break out this year? I was like well that's interesting.

Basically a player that the casual football fan doesn't view as a star but will by the end of

this NFL season. So I did my best at pinpoint those players and I thought about it. I said

at quarterback it's got to be Jalen Hertz which isn't a bold take for anyone that's in the

business if you're drafting on underdog fantasy throughout February, March, April, May.

Touting Jalen Hertz is not a strong take. It's an easy take. It's one of the more obvious takes

out there. The nuance with Jalen Hertz is because he's a rushing quarterback. He pulls pass attempts

out of the offense and you just can't be overexposed to the receivers on the Eagles.

Just so you can't be overexposed to the receivers on the 49ers or the receivers on Baltimore.

But there are receivers on Baltimore. I like like the breakout wide receiver. I listed was

Rashad Bateman, even though his quarterback is Lamar Jackson. But generally speaking, I'm not

overexposed to wide receivers tethered to highly mobile quarterbacks, which creates a challenge

on underdog because you don't want to stack hurts with AJ Brown and Devonte Smith. You don't

want to do that. AJ Brown is phenomenal and yet not going to have a lot of AJ Brown in fantasy

drafts this year and a lot more Jalen Hertz. Dallas Goddard is a top five talent at the tight

end position and yet I'd much rather have TJ Hawkinson because his quarterback is not pulling

pass attempts out of the offense. I think the Lions and Eagles offenses will be a lot closer

in terms of point scored, totally yardage than the average football fan believes from planting
