Summary

this week on Delusional Diaries, Halley and Jaz catch up the only way they know how... from celebrating 100 Solidcore classes and resurrecting 90s Tae Bo, to surviving the most aggressive New York cold snap of all time, the girls recap wedding weekends, Miami plans, Turks anticipation, and why group trips, where everyone’s down to drink and beat the same topics into the ground, are elite. there’s also a deep dive into phone battery conspiracies, hoarder-level camera rolls, and the mildly concerning contents of their notes apps.

but the heart of the episode centers around Halley’s intense court experience after being “allegedly” assaulted in New York. she opens up about testifying, being cross-examined by the defendant (who represented himself), the chaos of courtroom objections, and the emotional toll of being photographed and gaslit throughout the process. it’s raw, frustrating, at times darkly funny, and an ironic reminder of how draining the legal system can be… especially when someone refuses accountability. the girls unpack what it felt like in real time, from courtroom theatrics to the surreal moment of watching TikTok evidence played out in court.

as always, the episode balances heavy with hilariously chaotic. they spiral into jury duty fantasies, debate whether you can escape hell once you’re in it, confess to adult-onset lice trauma (yes, really), read old hate letters to brokers, and expose their most embarrassing past crushes.

Hi, guys.

0:13.6

Welcome back to Delusional Diaries podcast.

0:15.6

I'm Hallie.

0:16.3

And I'm Dazz, and I am so sore.

0:18.7

I've not gone to solid core in a little bit now. And I went with

0:22.4

Hallie that was yesterday? Yeah. And it was her 100th class. So exciting. Don't ask me how many

0:30.0

I'm at. But I went and it was one of my more difficult solid core classes. I feel like I've taken.

1:14.6

Even though maybe just because I haven't been there in a while, but that one just like felt different. Like I was taking more breaks. I was like, girl, let me on my knees. Like, please. Yeah. I think it's always hard to go back once you haven't been in a sec. Like I, I was going every day for like a minute. And then I stopped. I've only been going a few times a week, especially. I've started like incline walking and stuff too, which I just think is better for my overall. Like I don't think you should be doing solid course at one day's a week. You really do not need to be doing that. Like, girl, what are you training for? It's giving like Leah's man, Miguel Yeah. Like he is just like what are you like whatever. I digress.

1:20.1

But I feel like I've been to way more than 100 classes. Like that feels like a really small number to me to be honest. But like you would be surprised how long it takes

1:23.9

you to get to 100 classes. You're telling me. I know.

1:28.0

I mean, I guess I really only discovered SolidCorp a little over a year ago.

1:32.5

And I did take like a three to four month break from working out when I was like really sick over like the summer-ish.

1:39.5

So I feel like I guess, I don't know.

1:41.2

I just feel like I've been to more.

1:42.5

But regardless, I feel like I don't know. I just feel like I've been to more. But regardless, I feel like,

1:46.0

I don't know. I always, I've been getting a little more sore because since I'm not doing it every single day, I am like, ooh, like if we do a little center glute day, I'm like feeling it in my center glutes the next day a little bit. My ass hurts. Yeah. I sat on the toilet store. I was like, ow.

1:59.1

Yeah.

1:59.6

Okay, I'm not that bad, but I definitely feel like a little like, ooh, you know, I can feel it.

2:04.0

Yeah.

2:04.4

So today I just... Yeah. I sat on the toilet store. I was like, ow. Yeah. Okay, I'm not that bad, but I definitely feel like a little like, ooh, you know, I can feel it.

2:04.0

Yeah.

2:04.4

So today I just did like a nice incline walk on the tread, called it a day. Guys, I've been doing Taibo, like from the 90s. I was like, I saw it on my For You page. Like it's been like kind of trending. So I was in Mexico this past weekend for a wedding and I was like, you know, like, let me get into movement.
